How do I keep my purchases fresh?

Your purchase will be made fresh for you and will require special treatment on an individual basis.  I will let you know at time of pick up, how best to store your product until your event.  Seasonal temperatures and location of event will affect your pastry differently depending upon ingredients used.  Refrigeration is not always required.  Most products are shelf stable and are best kept at room temperature, but to reiterate above mentioned pertaining to temperature and season, I will give you best options when you receive your product.

wafer paper (made from potato starch, oil, water)

fondant

gumpaste

traditional buttercream

royal icing

fresh flowers

Fondant covered?

Yes.  I can make your cake fondant covered.  It is advisable to also have ganache and your buttercream of choice.  The ganache seals in your buttercream and makes for a solid structure for your fondant.  If you purchase fondant, you will be charged for the ganache and the buttercream.

How do you charge?

Wedding cakes are quoted based on several factors:

1. size overall (how many tiers and layers of those tiers)

2. type of frosting and if fondant is chosen as overall look.

3. filling

4. type of flowers or decor applications.

5. type of structure (designed cake might require additional support, i.e. floating tier held by metal form suspended above two other tiers would be custom built).

6. fresh flowers that are NOT in season would cost more to order.

7. rental of table (optional)

8. delivery/set up (optional)

9. deposit 50% required at time of purchase to dedicate your wedding date, with final payment 2 weeks prior to wedding date.

Cost for 3D custom sculpted or multi involved complex cakes?

Anything other than standard layer cakes, or sheet cakes would require custom quotes.

Do you do edible imaging?

Yes!  If you are looking to have a special photo applied to a cake or cupcakes, I can do that for you!

How much time in advance do you require for an order?

Minimally, I ask for 2 weeks notice.  If it is a more complex cake, longer time allowed for my creativity and prep work is appreciated.  Some designs require artwork with gumpaste or wafer paper or even isomalt pulled sugar that could take several days to produce.

What type of payment do you offer?
